Abstract

A systematic treatment of the Costarican Apocynaceae (subfamilies Rauvolfioideae and Apocynoideae) is given. Thirty genera and 80 species are treated, including descriptions, keys and specimens examined, as well as the most relevant bibliographic references. Photographs for almost all the genera and species are included.
