Scandentia, a new genus of Rubiaceae- Spermacoceae

The new genus Scandentia is proposed with four species; two of them are separated from Borreria sect. Galianthe: S. cymosa and S. monodon, and another two are new ones: S. andreii and S.macrobracteata. Affinities and differences with Emmeorhiza, Galianthe and Borreria are keyed out. The species are described and illustrated.
