Abstract

The neotropical genus Liabum is reincorporated to Argentina (province of Salta) with the first record of L. acuminatum. This new record extends the distribution of the genus Liabum to 23º S. L. acuminatum is described and illustrated. In addition, a map of distribution of Liabum and L. acuminatum, and a key to differentiate the members of the tribe Liabeae of Argentina are provided.
