Abstract

Olpidiopsis varians and O.vexans were collected from two aquatic environments of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. Both species are reported for the first time for Argentina being the southernmost records of these species in the Western Hemisphere. The first species is parasitic on Achlya proliferoides
and the second species is parasitic on Saprolegnia sp.
