Abstract

A new record for the Argentinean flora, Samanea tubulosa, is described and illustrated. The specimens were collected in Oran, Salta Province, Argentina, in the “Selvas Pedemontanas” district of the “Yungas” phytogeographic province. Comments on the systematic position of the species and related genera are given.
