A new rhizomatous species of Festuca (Poaceae, Poeae) from northwestern Argentina

Festuca yalaensis, a new rhizomatous, narrow-leaved Festuca from the province of Jujuy (NW Argentina) is described and illustrated. Its delimitation with respect to other Festuca species and its phylogenetic placement within the Loliinae clade are discussed.Downloads
