Abstract

Synopsis of the 4 Argentinian species of Capsicum, which were dealt by the author almost 50 years ago, i.e.: C. chacoënse Hunz., C. eximium Hunz., C. baccatum L. var. baccatum (= C. microcarpum Cav.) and C. flexuosum Sendt. (= C. schottianum auct. non Sendt., A. T. Hunziker. Darwiniana 9: 244. 1950). Each species is described; the respective common names and geographical distributions are also indicated.
