Abstract

Justicia floribunda (C. Koch) Wasshausen nov. comb. is recorded for the first time for Argentina (Misiones), described and illustrated. The name Justicia rizzinii Wasshausen is reduced to synonymy. This species was previously known from forests of southern Brasil and may probably be also found in eastern Paraguay.
