First record of Epilobium hirsutum (Onagraceae) for the Argentinean flora

Epilobium hirsutum (Onagraceae) is recorded for the first time in Argentina, in the Province of Río Negro. A description of the species, distribution and habitat, common names, uses, and a key to the species of Epilobium cited for the Argentinean flora, are included. Based on the reviewed literature, this is also the first report of the species for South America.References
